Luca Kids – Kids’ Shorts with Elastic Waistband & Optional Pockets

"Luca Kids" is a comfortable shorts sewing pattern for kids, designed with a soft elastic waistband for maximum comfort and movement. The waistband is easily adjustable with elastic, so no zipper is needed, making this pattern perfect for beginners.

This pattern includes two versions:

• With side seams & pockets for a classic look
• A quick 3-piece version without side seams – perfect as pajama shorts or comfy everyday wear

Fabric choice: "Luca Kids" works well with jersey, sweat fabric, or woven fabrics. For lightweight summer shorts, choose musselin or cotton, while sweatshirt fabric makes them ideal for sports.
