What does Schneidermeer offer you?
At Schneidermeer, you'll find exclusive sewing patterns available for download and printing. Most patterns come in A4 format and also include pattern pieces in A0 format. In addition to eBooks, paper patterns are also offered, saving you the hassle of taping A4 pages together.

What do I receive when I order a sewing pattern as an eBook?
You will receive a photo-illustrated guide that takes you through each step, from printing the pattern to the final touches on your project. Some guides include information on variations or special sewing techniques. Additionally, you’ll get a sewing pattern in A4 format, which may include both multi-size and single-size versions. All files are in PDF format for self-printing.

What do I receive when I order a paper pattern?
The paper pattern includes a printed, full-color instruction booklet (A4) and a folded pattern sheet. For multi-size patterns, the sheet is printed in color, making it easy to distinguish between sizes.

Can I order both an eBook and a paper pattern?
Yes, you can order the eBook along with a printed pattern sheet, which will be folded into A4 format and mailed to you.

How long does shipping take?
Shipping takes between 2 to 6 business days. Your order will be sent as quickly as possible.

What is a multi-size pattern, and what is a single-size pattern?
A multi-size pattern includes all available sizes layered on top of each other, allowing you to select and customize your size easily (e.g., if your top is size 40 and hips are size 42, you can create a seamless transition). Seam allowances are included if noted on the pattern. A single-size pattern provides each size on a separate page for printing. These patterns also include seam allowances, so you only need to print your chosen size and cut it out.

Why do I need an account to order, especially for free patterns?
Digital sewing patterns are offered as downloadable eBooks in PDF format. An account is needed to download the files. I do not send patterns via email. After purchasing, you can view your order in your account and download your file from there.

Where can I find my patterns after purchase?
Go to your account and view your latest order. Once your payment is confirmed, you can download your pattern from the order summary. Patterns are not sent by email.

Why isn’t my pattern available yet?
Your payment has not been received yet. If you used PayPal, the download will be available immediately after the order is completed. For bank transfers, the download is unlocked once the payment is received, typically within 2-3 days.

Why is the download available for a limited time and quantity?
To prevent the shop from being overloaded, downloads are only available for a limited time and quantity. Please download and save your file immediately. If you missed the window or lost your file, send an email to service@schneidermeer.de.

How do I unpack my .zip file?
You need software to open .zip files, which most operating systems already have. Alternatively, you can use the free program 7Zip.

How do I open the file on mobile devices such as iPhone, iPad, or Android?
For unpacking on an iPhone or iPad, download the iZip app from the App Store. For Android, you can use the AndroZip file manager.

How do I open the PDF file?
It’s best to use Adobe Acrobat Reader, which also ensures that your printouts are the correct size for your sewing patterns. Correct sizing is essential for an accurate sewing process.

Printing the pattern
Open the pattern in Adobe Acrobat Reader and print at 100% or “actual size.” Your guide will include instructions for printing. A control square on the pattern should measure as specified when printed to confirm the correct size.

I can't log in.
Use the “Forgot Password?” function if you can’t remember your password. You will receive an email with instructions to reset your password.

Why does a message about waiving the right of withdrawal appear during checkout?
You are purchasing a digital product that is made available immediately after payment. Digital products cannot be returned.

What if I ordered with the wrong email address?
Log in to your account and update the incorrect email address. If you’re unable to resolve the issue, send a brief email to service@schneidermeer.de with your order details or the incorrect email address. You will typically receive a response within 24 hours.

I can’t download my pattern.
Send a brief email to service@schneidermeer.de, and I will respond as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours.
