Chloe – Rectangle Bag with Angled Flap
Looking for a stylish yet practical bag sewing pattern? Then the Chloe Bag is for you – a structured rectangular shoulder bag with a modern angled flap and lots of design options!
Chloe closes with a magnetic snap on the flap and includes an optional zipper closure underneath for extra security. Prefer it simpler? You can skip the zipper and sew Chloe without it.
The bag is fully lined and features a small inner zip pocket – perfect for keys or small items. Thanks to the deep gusseted base, there's plenty of room for your everyday essentials.
Chloe comes in two sizes:
- Large: Ideal for daily use
- Small: Perfect as a compact handbag
Got fabric scraps lying around? Chloe is a great scrap-buster, especially if you choose the version with panel details on the front or back.
Bag dimensions:
- Small: approx. 23 x 16 x 7 cm (W x H x D)
- Large: approx. 27 x 20 x 7 cm (W x H x D)

- Front A: no panel seams – beginner friendly
- Front B: with angled panel insert
- Back A: no panel seams – beginner friendly
- Back B: with angled panel insert
This sewing pattern includes:
