"Lena" – Comfortable Baby Pants

The "Lena" pattern is for comfortable baby pants, perfect for sewing in jersey or sweat fabric. The pants can be finished with an elastic waistband or a cuff made from jersey or knit fabric. The waistband can be sewn as a regular waistband or as an extendable waistband to grow with the baby.

For a quicker project, the pants can also be sewn without side seams, saving time and simplifying the process.

Options Included in the Pattern:

• Side Seam: Pants can be sewn with or without a side seam.
• Waistband: Choose between elastic or a cuff made from jersey or knit fabric.
• Hem: Finish the hem with a simple fold or a cuff.
• Extendable Waistband: Choose between a regular waistband and a grow-with-me waistband.
• Decorative Trim: Optionally, add a decorative trim to the pants.

The pattern includes single size and multi-size options from size 44 to 98, in A4 and A0/A1 formats with seam allowances included. Sizes correspond approximately to standard retail sizes. The English pattern includes a letter-size format (in addition to A4 and A0), with all measurements provided in both centimeters and inches on the pattern itself and throughout the instructions.

Model 1 (elastic waist and simple hem) and Model 2 (waist and ankle cuffs) are described separately, making this pattern especially beginner-friendly.
